St. Bartholomew’s is accepting nominees for a full-time Rector.
We are a community-oriented church with several initiatives that work together to meet the needs of the people of Fort Smith, including the food pantry and sack lunch program, Angel Tree Program, and many community events like Trunk or Treat. Several holidays during the year where we open up our meals to the community.
Arkansas is the Natural State and near Fort Smith, there are lots of outdoor activities to engage in with the Arkansas River, numerous lakes and the Ozark and Ouachita mountains. Fort Smith is rich in United States history with several Civil War battle sites in the area. We also have several attractions in the city including many museums like the Marshall’s Museum, an active music scene and other Historical Landmarks like Fort Chaffee. Fort Smith is a small city with big city amenities.
