Service Times

We offer three services: 5:00 PM Saturdays in the Chapel and 8 AM and 10:30 AM Sundays in the main church Sanctuary. The Euchararist (Communion) is served at each service.

Our 5:00 PM Saturday service in the Chapel features scripture and a sermon. There is no music. Enter through the red double doors on the south side of the building. Doors open at 4:45 PM.

Our 8:00 AM service is a Rite I service in the main sanctuary. It is a traditional service that uses formal English language such as “thee” and “thou,” which many people find reverent and meaningful. There is no music.

Our 10:30 Rite II service in the main sanctuary uses contemporary language and is family oriented. There is organ and piano music and hymns are sung. There is a children’s table with activity bags at the rear of the church. Child care is provided as an option in the educational wing of the building.

What to Expect

Where's the Entrance?

we enter through the large double doors on the north side of the building. There’s plenty of parking. There are a few shallow steps. There is a ramp just around the corner on the east side of the building. Someone will typically greet you and give you a handout (bulletin). This bulletin contains everything you need to know to participate in the service. Sit anywhere and make yourself comfortable.

What About the Kids?

We welcome children. There is a children’s table in the sanctuary equipped with activity bags. A rocking chair is available for parents in case a little one needs soothing or feeding. The sounds of children are music to our ears, so please feel comfortable with whatever sounds and excitement your little ones add to our service. Childcare is available in the educational wing if that is your preference.

What should I wear?

Most folks dress casually. Jeans are fine. Wear whatever makes you comfortable.

What About Communion?

The Episcopal Church welcomes ALL to God’s table. We come forward for communion, so just follow the person in front of you to the altar rail. You’ll receive a wafer and wine (Yes, we use wine.) You can drink from the cup that is offered to you or dunk your wafer into the wine. Gluten free wafers are available. If you prefer to remain in your seat, we will bring communion to you.

Stand, Sit or Kneel?

You’ll notice we stand, sit and kneel at various times. Some people call that “Episcopal Aerobics.” The bulletin gives suggestions, but you are free to do whatever is comfortable for you. You can remain seated.

Coffee Hour

After the 10:30 service we head to the Parish Hall for refreshments and a chance to chat. It’s a great way to get to know each other, make new friends and visit with our priest.

Restrooms

There is a restroom in the main hallway just past the foyer. Other restrooms are located further down the hall adjacent to the Parish Hall. There are changing stations in the restrooms.
